The Executive Committee reports to the Board of Directors and shall be made up of the officers of CAPA, ex officio. Other Standing or Ad Hoc Committee chairs or other directors may serve on the Executive Committee if they are appointed.

The Finance Committee provides oversight of CAPA’s financial status and coordinates the Board’s financial oversight responsibilities by recommending policies to the Executive Committee.

The Legislative Committee is responsible for identifying legislative priorities and challenges, making recommendation to the Board for legislative action, and developing and implementing legislative outreach and advocacy efforts in collaboration with the President and Executive Director.

The Data Analysis and Research Committee collaborates and works in tandem with the CAPA Legislative Committee to provide data that supports policy initiatives.

Each of the four CAPA regions determines its own dates, times, and frequency of meetings and elects a Regional Vice President as its representative to the Executive Committee. Regional meetings provide an opportunity to engage the directors who may not be able to regularly attend the Board’s monthly meetings by offering a forum for input and involvement necessary for the sustained health and strength of the association.
